How Do I Become a Master Naturalist?

You become a Master Naturalist by joining our class, completing the training and providing volunteer hours to the Master Naturalist program and/or its sponsors and partners.

When is the next Training?

Traditionally, training is hosted in the fall. Next time we plan to host training will be the Winter of 2018. If you have questions or would like to be added to my waitlist and receive first notifications of the training schedule, please email Amanda. 

What Is the Cost and What Will I Learn?

You will be asked to pay a fee to help cover the cost of materials and training. The fee is $250. This fee includes the Master Naturalist manual filled with helpful resources and reference publications. During the training program you will learn about many different facets of the natural world.

A combination of classroom instruction and demonstrations is used to present information about topics such as:
