National 4-H Week Theme Announced: Go Wild with 4-H!
What if. . . you could make your dreams come true?
4-H is a "real-life experience. Develop skills and learn to make decisions similar to those that will be important in your life.
It's for you! Programs and projects can be tailored to fit you, your home, and your community.
4-H is about decision-making. You take responsibility for your own actions, learn to think for yourself, and explore choices.
It is part of your community. Your become involved where you live. You learn citizenship and leadership skills by taking responsibility in your community.
4-H believes in "learning by doing." You complete a project then think about what you learned and how to use the knowledge.
What if. . . you made 4-H the next step?
The new 4-H year begins September 1 and now is the time to join! Youth must be 8 years of age by September 1 or in the third grade and not yet turned 19 by September 1 to join. There are many clubs to join or if you are interested in starting a new club, please contact us!
