The NEAFCS Award Application season is here! To access the NEAFCS Awards Manual go to www.neafcs.org and click on the Recognition and Awards Section. The IEAFCS Awards and Recognition committee encourages you to review the awards that are available.
Listed below are some important instructions and dates to keep in mind.
1. EVERYONE who applies for an award must fill out an online application via the NEAFCS web site in the member section. These application forms will be available February 1 and must be submitted electronically. The application asks for basic information about you (and team members) in addition to 50 and 30 word summary descriptions. The application form has a word count in place for the word summaries. It's best that you write your summaries prior to going online to fill out the application. Then cut and paste your summary. When prompted, print off several copies of this application.
2. Mail a copy of your computer generated award application along with all of the other required award documentation to Shirley Camp by March 1. The IEAFCS award committee will review the awards applications and send on the selected award applicants to the national level. The NEAFCS awards manual lists all of the required documentation for each award. Please read those instructions carefully!
If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail or call Shirley Camp at the address at the bottom of the page.
