- Academic Professional Development Fund - Application Process
The Academic Professional Development Fund (APDF) provides a source of funds for academic professional staffmembers (permanent/non-visiting) to take advantage of professional development opportunities. The Office of the Provost provides up to $5,000 per year to Extension in APDF awards.
- Professional Development Scholarship - Application Form
The Illinois Extension Professionals for Youth Education Professional Development Scholarship Fund is designed to provide financial assistance and enhance the professional development of IEPYE members. The scholarship program will be an incentive program to encourage members to attend NAE4-HA national meetings and participate fully in the conference.
National Scholarships
- First Time Attendee National Conference Scholarship: One or more monetary awards will be given to be used toward the NAE4-HA conference registration fee. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage new and existing NAE4-HA members to attend national conferences who have never done so before.
- Professional Development Opportunity: One monetary award will be given up to $1,000. The national winner will be recognized at the annual conference. These funds are not intended for college degree programs or for attendance at the NAE4-HA conference. Funds are intended for workshop or seminar fees, professional study tours, or individual educational experiences applicable to the youth development profession (i.e. fees, travel, support materials, lodging).
- Stiles Memorial Scholarship: A $1,000 award to be presented to a 4-H professional who is enrolled in a college or university degree program (Associates, Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral).
- Susan Barkman Research and Evaluation Scholarship: One monetary award will be given up to $750. These funds are intended for use in a research and/or evaluation project by a NAE4-HA professional. The funds can be used to offset the cost of research including, but not limited to, copies, mailings, travel, and evaluation assistance. The award can be used for research as a part of graduate school, but not to pay the cost of graduate school.
