Baked Chicken with Peaches
Servings: 6
| 1 broiler/fryer chicken, cut into serving pieces, skin removed |
| 1 Tbsp. flour |
| 1 Tbsp. butter |
| 1 can (16oz.) peach halves in light syrup, drained, reserve syrup |
| ½ tsp. cinnamon (opt.) |
| ½ tsp. nutmeg (opt.) |
- Instructions:
- Place chicken pieces in a single layer in a greased baking pan.
- Sprinkle flour over chicken. Dot with butter.
- Bake uncovered in a 375 degree F oven for 30 minutes.
- Place peach halves around chicken. Spoon peach syrup over chicken and peaches. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over all.
- Bake 20 minutes more or until thoroughly cooked (meat thermometer registers 165 degrees F).
