Casserole Sauce Mix
9 cans
| 2 cups nonfat dry milk powder |
| ¾ cup cornstarch |
| ¼ cup reduced-sodium instant chicken or beef bouillon |
| ½ tsp. dried crushed thyme |
| ½ tsp. dried crushed basil |
| ¼ tsp. pepper |
- Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients using blender or food processor.
- Store in an airtight container.
- To prepare as substitute for one can of condensed cream soup in recipes, stir together 1/3 cup dry mix and 1¼ cups water in saucepan.
- Cook and stir until thickened.
- Recipe equals 9 cans condensed soup.
