Pilaf Mix

Servings: 6
Ingredients:
1 cup rice, brown or whole grain
1 tsp. dry parsley flakes
2 tsp. instant bouillon
¼ tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. dry minced onion
¼ tsp. garlic powder
    Instructions:
  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Place in a tightly covered container.
  3. Use within 6 months.
  4. prepare mix:
  5. Combine mix with 2 cups boiling water in a saucepan.
  6. Cover and reduce heat.
  7. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes for white rice or bulgur; 45 minutes for brown rice.
  8. If desired, add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine.
