Pilaf Mix
Servings: 6
| 1 cup rice, brown or whole grain |
| 1 tsp. dry parsley flakes |
| 2 tsp. instant bouillon |
| ¼ tsp. pepper |
| 1 Tbsp. dry minced onion |
| ¼ tsp. garlic powder |
- Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients.
- Place in a tightly covered container.
- Use within 6 months.
- prepare mix:
- Combine mix with 2 cups boiling water in a saucepan.
- Cover and reduce heat.
- Simmer 15 to 20 minutes for white rice or bulgur; 45 minutes for brown rice.
- If desired, add 2 tablespoons butter or margarine.
