Created in 1964, the Illinois Water Resources Center (IWRC) receives annual funding from the U.S. Geological Survey and the State of Illinois, as part of a nationwide network of university-based water centers. IWRC is dedicated to research and outreach programs on water resources issues critical to Illinois and the Midwest. You can view IWRC's research efforts on the publications page.

Proposals should address: improving and enhancing the nation's water supply, evaluation of extreme hydrologic events, water supply estimation methods, ground and surface water management, or conservation practices. For more information see the Call for Proposals
