Understanding how diet influences inflammation
October 24, 2017
Inflammation is the body’s natural response to stressors. Understanding what causes inflammation and how you can better manage it is the first step to improving your overall health. Many lifestyle choices contribute to the inflammation response. However, by making small changes in our everyday lives, we are able to decrease the risk of inflammation. Join Diane Reinhold, Nutrition and Wellness Educator from University of Illinois Extension, to learn what steps you can take to fight inflammation. During this workshop, we will discuss the impact of diet, physical activity and stress management on the inflammation process.
Understanding Inflammation and How Diet Influences the Inflammation Process, will be held Tuesday, November 14 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at the Winnebago County Extension Office, located at 1040 N. Second St. in Rockford. The cost of this program is $10 to attend and pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, visit web.extension.illinois.edu/jsw or call 815-986-4357.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in this program, please contact the Winnebago County Extension office at 815-986-4357.
