Bills for Debate

Dear 4-H Great Debate Delegate: You'll be assigned specific bill based on your preferences marked on registration with a specific position on that bill after all the registrations are in. But, to increase your chances of being able to add to the debate of ALL the bills, we suggest you begin doing a little research now. This will also give you a head start with preparing for YOUR bill.

2011 Bills for Debate

  1. All students, public and private, shall attend school year round.
  2. Without parental consent a youth must be a minimum of 16 to receive a tattoo.
  3. If a male under the age of 18 fathers a child the father's parents are responsible for child support until the child's father turns 18 or graduates from high school.
  4. Phone usage in construction zones should be repealed.
  5. Unsold food from local and regional stores/restaurants should be given to food pantries instead of being discarded.
  6. No toys in happy meals, only toys in nutritional meals that meet government standards.
