Livingston County Master Gardeners

Master Gardeners share unbiased, research-based horticultural information with home landscapers and gardeners. Another important function of the organization is to encourage people to enjoy the pleasures of flower and vegetable growing through our Master Gardener program.

Illinois Vegetable Garden Guide
This site includes information about growing and caring for a successful garden, insect and disease problems, a directory on growing specific vegetables, and how to exhibit vegetables at a fair or show.

A great list of links for information on each of the topics Master Gardeners regularly use.
NEW Illinois Master Gardener Website
The site is a comprehensive clearinghouse for news and updates, the Imagine newsletter, training schedules, educational events, and program information. It also contains a special section for Master Gardeners as well as a section for Master Gardener Coordinators.
