Place an ad in the local paper

Utilize student associations

Do a radio or TV spot

Try recruitment brochures at local schools

Have a current volunteer in radio, TV or newspaper

Plan a telethon

Get coverage in newspaper about volunteer story or work being done

Set up a volunteer fair

Hold volunteer recruitment parties

Get news articles with photos of volunteers

Have open lunches

Send personal letters from current volunteers

Hold invitational lunches

Hold teas and dinners

Give presentations to community groups

Make phone calls to potential volunteers
