2010 Second Thursday Classes
Master Gardeners will be sponsoring classes at the Farm Bureau Building from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. The cost is $10 per session. Call the Extension office at 663-8306 or email at sbecker@uiuc.edu to register.

Four Seasons Horticulture Telenets
University of Illinois Educators conduct classes via the University of Illinois telenet system and local computer PowerPoint presentations, allowing live discussion between the instructor and gardeners throught Illinois. All telenet sessions are held in the Extension Office Board room. There is a minimal $5 fee payable at the door. Pre-registration is requested by calling the Extension office at 663-8306 or emailing SBecker@illinois.edu.

Home, Lawn and Garden Day
Home, Lawn and Garden Day 2010 sponsored by the University of Illinois Master Gardeners in McLean County will be held at Central Catholic High School, 1201 Airport Road, Bloomington, Illinois on Saturday, March 6, 2010. This full day event will offer several choices of workshops, a keynote speaker, exhibitors, door prizes, and lunch. Registration forms will be available in January. If you have not previously attended, call 663-8306 to be placed on the mailing list.

McLean County Master Gardeners also provide information on variety of topics from vegetable gardening to the Emerald Ash Borer for community groups and business organizations. If you have a group that would like to hear one of our presentations, please call the office for further information.
