The University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener program is proud to announce that our new updated and revised Master Gardener manual for 2014 has been released.

The manual contains more than 700 pages of information and illustrations on all aspects of horticulture and gardening including plant propagation, pest management, disease diagnosis, fruits, vegetables, flowers, woody ornamentals, landscaping, grasses, houseplants, organic gardening and more. The manual will be available in print or CD-ROM format. The CD-ROM is fully searchable and contains the entire Master Gardener manual in PDF files.

The manual includes:

  • Learning objectives for each chapter
  • An extensive glossary and index
  • Durable spiral binding and laminated covers
  • Twenty pages of insect and disease photos
  • Twenty-three chapters of research-based horticulture content

The cost for the 2014 manuals is $95 for a print copy or $75 for a CDROM copy. Print and CDROM together is $130.
