Community Garden Workshops are Offered

University of Illinois Extension is offering a series of Community Garden workshops to help those who are just beginning a community garden, those who have an established garden and anyone else interested. The series of workshops will provide resources and hands-on activities to help your community garden grow. Beginning and experienced gardeners are welcome at The ABC’s of Community Garden Workshops. Dates are topics will be:

April 29           Warm Season Vegetables and Composting

May 20            Tour of Local Gardens

The workshops will be held on Saturdays at the University of Illinois Extension office located at 1 Regency Plaza Drive, Collinsville, IL.
