Welcome to Our Website!

The Moultrie-Douglas Extension Unit is the University of Illinois educational outreach to local residents. Programming in agriculture & natural resources, 4-H & youth development, family & consumer sciences, and community & economic development is offered by Extension staff. The Unit also offers programming in the Family Nutrition Program and Master Gardener program. Our goal is simple--to help you put knowledge to work!

Master Gardener Hours

If you have a question for our Master Gardeners, you may contact our office at any time and leave a message at 543-3755 or Master Gardeners are in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Master Gardeners can answer questions about a variety of plant and insect problems or identification.

Learn what you need to know about radon and how to reduce your risk of exposure to radon gas. http://www.takeactiononradon.illinois.edu/

The Healthy Indoor Air website: http://web.extension.uiuc.edu/healthyair/ has fact sheets on the topics of radon, carbon monoxide, smoke alarms, water alarms, vacuum filters, furnace filters, lead paint and mold.
