The initial 2012 issue of the Illinois Bulletin has been posted. The Bulletin provides pest management and crop development information throughout the growing season. Follow along;
The 24th edition of the Illinois Agronomy Handbook was printed in 2009. That version has also been uploaded and is now available for viewing and printing. Another print version is not in the foreseeable future, but authors now have the ability to update the electronic version. Bookmark this URL!
Trying to find something to do to keep you out of the field? If you have grass pastures or hay it is time in northern Illinois for early spring nitrogen applications. Nitrogen requirements vary by grass species and productivity of the soils.
