Late planted cover crops

Posted by Russel Higgins -

The cover crop study initiated in 2012  were planted later than recommended. How did they do? Emergence among the grasses (Oats,Cereal rye, Annual rye)was very good, with top growth between 3-4 inches, impressive for October plantings. The clover, canola and vetch emerged well, but are 1/4 to 2 inches in height.
