Seeing green

Posted by Russel Higgins -

That's right; I plan on seeing green this weekend. No, I'm not going to the unofficial St. Patrick's festivities on campus. Another location where I expect lots of green (and gold) to be on display is at the Alpha Tau Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho at Western Illinois University. My old house is celebrating 50 years and at last count had nearly 350 actives and guests signed up for Saturday's events.

Congrats Alpha Tau!

The only reason I will not be on hand is because of an earlier planned long weekend in Florida. My in-laws have graciously agreed to host for several days and with the current March weather, Florida appears to be too good an option to pass up. I'll be sure to take my camera and take some pictures of plants that are green and growing. Perhaps that will get us bye until spring finally arrives in northern Illinois.
