4-H and Red Cross Babysitting Clinic
The Babysitter’s Training class trains young people to prevent accidents, to handle emergency situations, and to care for and play with youngsters. Participants also learn how to care for choking emergencies and administer rescue breathing. The Marshall-Putnam 4-H program is sponsoring an American Red Cross Babysitting Clinic. The Babysitting Clinic is open to all Marshall-Putnam youth who are at least 11 years old. The class fee is $40.00 per person and includes a reference book. Class participants should bring a sack lunch. To register, contact the American Red Cross, Central Illinois Chapter at 309-677-7272, ext. 208 and talk to Jan Cook.
