Extension to Host Free Gardening Webinars in February and March

The winter series of University of Illinois Extension’s Four Seasons Gardening program has been announced and will focuses on environmental stewardship, home gardening, and backyard food production.

The first session of the series is titled How to Kill Your Tree: A Guide of What NOT to do and is offered twice – on February 23 at 1:30 p.m. and again on February 25 at 6:30 p.m.

Other topics in the winter series include Unique Terrariums for Indoor Spaces set for March 8 and 10, and Naughty, Nasty, and Simply Annoying Plants set for March 22 and 24.

There is no fee to attend or register, however attendees must register in advance.  Each session is about an hour long and will provide an opportunity to ask questions with the presenter. 

To watch from their personal computer, participants will pre-register at http://go.illinois.edu/4seasons_webinars. Recorded videos of these sessions can be viewed following the program by visiting http://go.illinois.edu/fourseasonsrecordings.

The Tuesday programs will also be available for in-person viewing at U of I Extension Jerseyville office, however to attend these sessions participants must register in advance at http://web.extension.illinois.edu/cjmm/ or by calling 618-498-2913.
