University of Illinois Extension offers: FREE pressure canner testing at local farmers markets offered

Enjoy the freshness of produce all year long when you preserve your food safely!  University of Illinois Extension will offer pressure canner gauge and seal testing at local farmers markets.  The service is free of charge and recommended annually to ensure a safe food preservation season.  Bring your pressure canner lid with the dial gauge and seal attached for testing.  Remember, weighted pressure canners do not need to be tested.  University of Illinois Extension FREE Pressure Canner Dial Gauge Testing:
