- 4-H Projects
The major way that 4-Hers "learn by doing" is through their 4-H projects. A 4-H project is a series of experiential learning activities planned by the member and a leader or helper.
- Upcoming Events
A wide variety of statewide 4-H events occur throughout the year including conferences, state judging contests, and other 4-H outings.
- Fairs and Exhibits
All counties provide an opportunity for 4-H members to display their work. Statewide, 4-H members can exhibit at the Illinois State Fair.
- Recognition, Awards and Scholarships
The 4-H program has a strong tradition of recognizing members for participating, reaching their goals, achieving standards of excellence, and excelling at competition.
- Leadership Opportunities
Youth involved in the 4-H program can become actively involved in growing and developing their leadership skills, from first becoming involved in a club committee to serving on state and national planning committees.
- Member Resources
Resources for new 4-H'ers, including New Kids in the Clover, a series of six newsletter to guide new members and families through the first year in 4-H.
- Camping
Camping has long been a part of 4-H. Make new friends and have a summer "get away" at one of the 4-H camps.
- International Opportunities
Connect with the global world around you by hosting international visitors or by traveling to another country.
