Pasture Walk

June 26, 2012 (6:00 PM )

A Pasture Walk will be held on Tuesday, June 26th, at Brent Obert's farm, located about ¾ mile east of Camp Point on Rt. 24 (look for the hoop structure off the south side of Rt. 24), we'll start at 6pm.

Other topics to be discussed include the benefits of the hoop structure to wean and finish cattle (Brent will have data comparing finishing animals in the building versus outside feedlot as well as manure fertility quality). He also just completed a pasture renovation project and we'll tour some established pasture sites as well.
