Shake off the winter doldrums at Nursery School, the Quad Cities’ premiere gardening symposium, produced by University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners. Local and regional horticulture experts share tips, pointers, ideas and information you can put to work!

NEW LOCATION!  The 20th Annual Nursery School will be at a new location- Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Catch the free shuttle from the Centennial Hall parking lot: 3703 7th Ave, Rock Island from 8 - 9:30 AM & 3 - 4:30 PM


EVENT DETAILS:

Your $55 registration fee includes your lunch and Keynote session by landscape designer Galen Gates who will share information about Year-Round Gardening.  His designs will inspire you as he shares some of his favorite landscape  plants that punctuate the seasons.  You’ll also get to choose 4 additional sessions from 16 different topics, including: growing roses; shade gardening; new plant selections; creating “outdoor rooms”; how to deal with nasty or annoying plants; using trees in your landscape; tea gardens; terrariums; high tech garden calendars; fermentation; outdoor photography; heirloom plants; landscape design; and make and take sessions that include a DIY jewelry pendant and a miniature garden.
