2018 Commercial Tree Fruit Schools
February 13-14, 2018
For current research-based information on growing tree fruits, attend the 2018 Tree Fruit School. This program features a wide range of topics to help you meet the challenges of commercial fruit production in Southern and Southwestern Illinois. The school will cover key orchard management topics, such as insect and disease management in apples and peaches, as well as other production issues. The 2017 Year in Review will be given by Kurt Range from Braeutigam Orchard. Special guest speaker will be Matthew Schuld from Summit Tree Sales in Michigan. He will be presenting information on apple and peach varieties for commercial orchards and planning for the long term.
Industry representatives will also be on hand to talk about their latest products and services.
Twoschools are offered this year – one on February 13th atthe Mt. Vernon DoubleTree by Hilton (formally Holiday Inn) and February 14th at the Knights of Columbus Hall, three miles south of Hardin.
Register on or before February 5th to get the special discount rate.
