National 4-H Volunteer e-Forum

Coming soon to an Extension Office near you…the 2017 National 4-H Volunteer e-Forum, #4HGrows Through Volunteers! You are invited to be a part of the very first National 4-H Volunteer e-Forum! This is your chance to get energized as you network with volunteers, county-based staff, and state specialists from all across the county where #4HGrows through volunteers!

The e-Forum series includes three sessions:

·         Cultivating an Environment of Growing True Leaders: Thursday, October 5; 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

This session includes ideas and activities volunteer leaders and teens serving in leadership roles can use to create engaging 4-H club experiences that stimulate valuable skill development in the club setting.

·         “STEM”ming into Animal Science, Growing True Leaders: Thursday, November 2; 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Learn about strategies to incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) concepts into animal science program and project areas.

·         Helping 4-H’ers Grow in Life & Work: Thursday, December 7; 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Explore successful programs being implementing across the country that helps youth focus on life-long learning, workforce readiness, and career exploration.

Each e-Forum session is designed to include presenters sharing information virtually and interactive, hands-on activities at the local site that all volunteers, teen leaders, and staff will participate in during the 90-minute program.
