Membership/Nominating Committee Report

· Mr. Jones reported that the nominating committee has four new persons for the council. Mr. Jones says he is unable to attend the March meeting, but he does not want to wait to invite these persons to the meeting. Mr. Jones is requesting that we bring these four people (2 Caucasian males, 2 Asian American and 1 Latina) onto the council as soon as possible.

· What are we asking? The council would like these persons to attend our March session in order to talk with and meet with them.

· Geri questioned whether we need a separate meeting outside of our regular meeting instead of within our council meeting. Mr. Jones recommends that we just invite them to our regular meeting. If we need to change the date we need to do this now.
