Extension Meetings

4-H Superintendents Meeting

January 28, 2010 (6:00 PM)

It is time to start planning the 2010 4-H Shows. All 4-H Project Superintendents will meet on Thursday, January 28th at 6:00 p.m. at the Extension office in Onarga. We will be serving a meal that night for you. Because of the meal we ask that you please RSVP to the Extension office by Tuesday, January 26th by either calling or indicating so on the enclosed sheet and returning it to the office or by visiting our website to register and complete the corrections form,. In case of bad weather, please listen to local radio stations for cancellation information and further details. If cancelled due to bad weather we will reschedule for Thursday, February 4th at 6:00 p.m.

During this meeting, suggested handbook updates and county fair book corrections will be discussed. We will also consider unit deadlines, new state requirements, and any additional information that might be needed for a successful fair season. All superintendents and committee members are asked to attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend please contact the Extension office to arrange a time to talk about the issues at hand.

Breakout sessions will provide time for individual project areas to discuss special issues or concerns and offer recommendations for this year's fair. This is your opportunity to have input!

Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. Let's continue to "Make the Best Better" with another great year of 4-H in the Ford-Iroquois Unit
