Extension Meetings

Washington County Extension Board Meeting

Thursday April 4, 2013 • 7:00 PM

This meeting has passed.

It is that time of year to start working on the Fiscal Year 2014 Budget for U of I Extension. During the February Extension Advisory Council meeting, dates were scheduled for the spring sessions to review and discuss the FY14 Budget proposals. Your attendance is respectfully requested. All meetings will be held at 7pm in the County Extension offices. Dates have been set as follows:

Bond County Thursday, March 21st

Clinton County Thursday, March 28th

Jefferson County Tuesday, April 2nd

Marion County Tuesday, March 19th

Washington County Thursday, April 4th

Letters have been sent to each County Board official requesting an update of County Board appointees (see attached), some have not yet had the opportunity to respond. If you feel you are receiving this letter in error or are no longer the County Board appointee, please contact your County Extension office.

According to the EXTENSION COUNCIL OPERATING PROCEDURES under Committees and local County Extension Boards:

"The Unit 23 council shall provide for local County Extension Boards consisting of the county's four (4) Extension Council representatives and three (3) County Governing Board appointees. County Extension Boards shall meet a minimum of twice a year. Once in the spring to review and provide input for the Unit's proposed budget and once in the fall to identify funds to be requested from the local County Governing Boards.
