Purdue University pharmacy students to collect unwanted medications

Pharmacy students at Purdue University know the importance of properly disposing of expired or otherwise unwanted medications. That is why they are hosting another series of single-day medicine take-back events on campus in April.

Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spring Fling located at the Heine Pharmacy Building

Friday, April 19, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Ismail Center/ Lambert Fieldhouse

Sunday, April 21, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Elliott Hall of Music

Prescription and over-the-counter medicines will be accepted. The events will not accept needles/ sharps, thermometers, or medical waste. The take-backs are sponsored by faculty and students of Purdue College of Pharmacy. For more information, contact Shannon Eaves at seaves@purdue.edu.
