University of Illinois Extension

Welcome! We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about 4-H overnight chaperone opportunities. This site includes seven sections that comprise the 4-H Overnight Chaperone Orientation. The purpose of this web site is to provide training for individuals who will be responsible for the health and safety of 4-H youth development participants at overnight events and activities. By having adult chaperones complete this training, it will provide reassurance to parents for their childrens well being. It will also clearly outline the expectations for volunteers who serve in the overnight chaperone role.

When you have completed all seven sections, please complete the quiz confirmation page so that the State 4-H office and your local Extension office will be notified that you have successfully completed this 4-H overnight chaperone orientation.
