1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. brown sugar
6 hamburger buns
  1. Add onions, celery, green pepper, and ΒΌ cup water to a large skillet.
  2. Cook until vegetables are soft.
  3. Remove vegetables from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add ground beef to skillet. Using a spatula, chop up ground beef. Cook thoroughly and drain away any remaining grease.
  5. Add cooked vegetables, ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar to cooked beef. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

 Double the recipe and freeze half to use on a later date!
