1¼ cup water
½ cup uncooked rice
1 cup cooked ham, cubed
1 pkg. (8 ounces) cheese, cubed
1 pkg. (10 ounces) frozen peas, thawed
6 hard cooked eggs, chopped
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup nonfat milk
1/2 tsp. salt
  1. Bring water to boil in a large saucepan.
  2. Add rice, cover, and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients to saucepan.
  4. Cover and continue cooking 20 minutes or until rice is done.

1. Try corn in place of peas for a different color and flavor!
