1 lb. fresh asparagus
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 pinch black pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Wash asparagus and trim off hard ends.
  3. Lay asparagus in shallow, flat pan (9" x 13" pan).
  4. Drizzle asparagus with vegetable oil.
  5. Sprinkle with lemon juice, garlic powder, and a pinch of black pepper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

- Rotate asparagus half-way through cooking for even heating.
