Cheesy Asparagus

1 lb. fresh asparagus or 1 can (14.5 ounces) asparagus, drained
4 slices American processed cheese
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. paprika
  1. If using fresh asparagus, cook by microwaving in covered dish with ΒΌ cup water until tender. Drain.
  2. Place asparagus in ovenproof dish.
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  4. Top asparagus with slices of processed cheese.
  5. Place dish in oven and broil just until cheese melts (watch carefully).
  6. If desired, sprinkle with paprika.
