Gail DeVilbiss is the Ag and Natural Resource (ANR) Coordinator for University of Illinois Extension in both Clinton and Washington Counties. As the ANR Coordinator, Ms. DeVilbiss coordinates programming that brings research based information to the local community.
Ms. DeVilbiss received a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in Plant and Soil Science. DeVilbiss brings 31 years of experience to the position. She has worked many positions in the Horticultural field. Ms. DeVilbiss has served the industry as a wholesale nursery grower, sales representative for both the wholesale and retail nursery market and has managed the Garden departments in the big box store format. DeVilbiss has been active over the years in various community clubs and organizations that represent the Horticultural interests.
DeVilbiss is working towards developing a strong relationship with the AG Community, acting as a liaison between the educators in Extension and the community. DeVilbiss will also work with the trained volunteers such as Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists to assist in providing research based information to the homeowners and youth in our community.
