You're Invited to Explore our 4-H Federation Group

As the 4-H year is underway, you might find yourself wanting more opportunities outside of the regular routine of your local 4-H club. The perfect chance awaits you. Youth who are 8th grade or older and who are enrolled in a local 4-H club have the opportunity to join the Washington County 4-H Federation. This energetic group is active in the community throughout the 4-H year. This group participates in various activities related to recreation, fundraising, and community service. Past experiences have included:

  • Ski/Tubing Trip
  • HYFS Adopt a Child Holiday Project
  • Winter Progressive Dinner/Holiday Caroling
  • School’s Out Party at the Lake
  • Summer Trip (Holiday World)
  • Blood Drive
  • Mastermind Room Escape Trip
  • Blanket Making Project
  • Foodstand at Washington County Fair
  • Bonfire/Scavenger Hunt
  • Leadership Roles at County Events
  • Assistance with Officer’s Training
  • Assistance with New Club Organization
  • County Board Thank You Meal and Presentation and More!!

The Federation group usually meets on the fourth Sunday of every month at the Washington County Extension Office at 6:00 p.m. (unless it's a special activities month). We would like to personally invite you to come and find out what we are all about. Hope to see you soon!
