"Clean Water: Our Greatest Resource"

University of Illinois Extension and the Putnam County Library District invites the public to attend the upcoming “Clean Water: Our Greatest Resource” water quality seminar. The special program will be held at the Granville Library, 214 S. McCoy Street, Granville. The program will take place on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. Advance registration is preferred by March 9 by calling the Putnam County Library District at 815-925-7020. There is no cost to attend.

Speakers include: Duane Friend, University of Illinois Extension Educator, Energy and Environmental Stewardship, and Caroline Wade, The Nature Conservancy Director.

The presentation will cover: importance of clean water systems, preventing pollution of our streams and waterways, nutrient loss reduction strategy, how urban and rural property owners can work together to ensure clean water for future generations.
