Lowell Gentry discusses his research investigating if and how we can use cover crops to help limit N loss through tile lines, and use that sequestered N to fertilize subsequent crops. Lowell explores the effect of different cover crops on optimal N fertilization rates and N loss through tile lines in corn/soy and continuous corn rotations.
