Ongoing Efforts

Teaching 2nd and 3rd Graders

This is our second year collaborating with CU Plus Credit Union and Rantoul schools to provide 15-20 minutes financial educaiton activities once a month.  We could use more help with this project.  Please let us know if you're interested and would like more information.  Training and curriculum provided!

Youth Financial Literacy

More and more afterschool and in-school opportunities keep popping up to help youth (typically elementary school-age) learn about money. If you're interested in this as a volunteer opportunity, please let Kathy know. You would typically work with other volunteers to provide the lessons.

Admin Committee

A new committee that would meet every 3-4 weeks that would advise about Money Mentors and help get things done. If you're interested in being a part of this, please let me know, sweedler@illinois.edu.
