Welcome Abigail Garofalo to Cook County Extension

Abigail Garofalo is our new Environmental and Energy Stewardship educator. Abigail received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana –Champaign. Her Bachelor of Science degree is in Natural Resources and Environmental Science with a concentration in Resource Conservations and Restoration Ecology and a Masters' Degree in Agricultural Leadership Education and was a Johnathan Baldwin Turner Fellow. Abigail has a wealth of previous work experience with the Park District of Oak Park, Morton Arboretum and the Museum of Science and Industry including a teaching Assistant position with the College of ACES. Abigail will be working in our Westchester office.
