Accidents do happen. Young puppies will have accidents indoors. Clean up the mess promptly and properly with disinfectant and odor removal products.
Remember, if your puppy can smell it, he will probably have another accident in the very same spot. So clean the area carefully!
If an accident does happen, don’t punish him and don’t yell at him. The dog will not understand why you are upset. Instead, reconsider how often you need to take the dog outside. Maybe you need to do it more frequently.
