Week of May 7, 2012 in my Garden

I marvel at the beauty around me as I walk around my yard this week to take these pictures. So much is happening in the garden. Some highlishts for me this week include: -Poppies are starting to bloom. I LOVE poppies!!! This one is pink. -Hummingbird moths feed on our honeysuckle vines each evening. Fragrance from the vines is almost intoxicating as I swing and watch the moths flit...

Week of April 30, 2012 in my Garden

The cool temperatures have slowed down plant growth and blooming in my garden, but most are still ahead of their normal schedule. Here are some highlights this week.
