Quality is important. Everybody wants to do their best, and everybody always wants to buy the best. For lettuce plants, here are the things to look for in a well-grown plant.

  • good, rich green color

  • lack of brown edges on the leaves

  • no damaged or injured leaves

  • firm leaves that are not wilted

  • the taste should not be bitter
