If you like horses and other equine then the Knox County Horse bowl and Hippology group is for you! To join the group you must be a horse project member and have the desire to increase your knowledge about equine. There is no need to own a horse to be a part of this award winning team.

  • Horse Ownership & Lease Papers
    For all horses that are owned and those that are not owned by or registered in the 4-H member's name, that may be shown at the Henderson County 4-H Horse Show or the Illinois State Fair Junior Horse Show. Lease or ownership papers with pictures are due to the Extension Office May 1.

  • HorseQuest
    HorseQuest provides visitors with science-based information on a variety of equine topics, from facilities to hoof care to training and breeding. The site features articles, peer-reviewed answers to commonly asked questions and learning modules, such as considerations for new and prospective horse owners.

  • Junior Master Horseman
    When it comes to having fun learning about everything horses, Junior Master Horseman (JMH) provides members, parents and horse enthusiasts with the most comprehensive science-based resource available. JMH is a multi-level, experience-based curriculum that uses vibrant characters to lead youth through lessons about horses.
