Creamy white flowers in flat topped clusters; white to pale blue fruit in clusters in late summer and autumn; autumn color is reddish purple; stems turn red in winter.
Culture
Full sun to partial shade; prefers a moist, well-drained soil.
Cultivars
- 'Argenteo-marginata' ('Elegantissima')- Green leaves with a cream colored edge, winter stems are red, 6-8 feet tall.
- 'Bailhalo' (Ivory Haloâ?¢)- Leaves green with a white edge, winter stems red, 5-6 feet tall.
- 'Sibirica' - Fruit is blue, winter stems are coral colored.
