Pinkish red flower spikes in late summer, Autumn leaves have a bronzy color. 
Full sun to partial shade. Requires a consistently moist soil. 
  • 'Border Jewel'- 6 inches tall with pink flowers.
  • 'Darjeeling Red'- darker pink flowers; leaves turn red in autumn.
  • 'Donald Lowndes'- more compact.
  • 'Superba'- 6 inches tall; best in full sun.
