Very vigorous spreading form of shrub rose (up to 6'). Small glossy green foliage. Red double flowers once inch wide (petal count 15-25) held in large clusters above the foliage. Slight fragrance. Continuous (perpetual) bloomer.
Full sun, well-drained soil. Prune by renewal method removing about one-third of the oldest canes in the spring to soil line as needed to keep the shrub open and maintain new cane production. Prune the stem back to a branch angle (a process called heading back) as needed to reduce width and height.
