Features
Fragrant flowers in rounded clusters; flowers are pink in bud, opening to white (mid-spring); fruit change from red to black in late summer (usually borne in small quantities); autumn color is wine red, but not consistent from year to year. 
 
Culture
Full sun to partial shade; moist, well drained soil is best; prefers acid soil, but tolerates alkaline soil. 
 
Cultivars
'Mohawk'- Dark red flower buds, open to white flowers, very fragrant, autumn color is orange red, resistant to powdery mildew and leaf spots.
